Colorful, refined, rich in history and tradition, Venice is pure magic! Walking through its streets will bring you back in time, and you’ll find yourself overwhelmed by emotions! This city with sumptuous 18th-century palaces, ancient bridges, and late Romanesque churches has so much to offer that you will return home with a wealth of wonders!
The beating heart of the so-called “City of Love” is Piazza San Marco, with the imposing Bell Tower, the Basilica, the Clock Tower, and the Doge’s Palace.
Wherever you look, you find points of interest that will conquer your senses: from the famous Ponte dei Sospiri to the Marciana Library, from the Rialto Bridge to the Church of Santa Maria dei Miracoli, from the Ca ‘Rezzonico Museum to the Church of San Zaccaria, from Palazzo Grassi to the panoramic terrace of the Fondaco dei Tedeschi.
Among the Biennale and the Carnival, this city is imbued with colors, art, design, architecture, and culture, much of which is enclosed and enhanced by the numerous permanent collections and temporary exhibitions held in museums and foundations.
Strolling through its narrow streets, you will see masks and souvenirs at every corner, among historic shops and luxury boutiques for shopping lovers! Directors, writers, and artists from different eras crossed its streets and chose the so-called “Queen of the Adriatic” as the location for their films, novels, and paintings. Thanks to them, many historic cafes in Venice became famous.
From creamed codfish to “Fegato alla Veneziana” (liver in the Venetian style), from sardines “in saor” to its irresistible “Friole”… let the cuisine of Venice offer you an unforgettable taste experience.
